Today Quarryhill Gardens on Highway 12 near to Glen Ellen, had their Spring Celebration, a combination of plant sale, open garden and delicious lunch.

Matilija Poppies (Romneya Coulteri) are spectacular plants growing up to 8 feet tall, possibly more. They're native to Southern and Baja California. They like full sun and tolerate arid conditions.
 The blooms can be up to 9 inches in diameter.
