The Moosewood Restaurant Cooks at Home is a largely vegetarian cookbook with some fish and seafood recipes. I use it regularly to cook with produce from the garden. Every recipe I've tried has been simple and the results very satisfactory.
I'd more or less given up the guilty pleasure of buying cookbooks when I read about Nigel Slater's Real Cooking and was intrigued. I am so glad I bought it. The recipes are easy and delicious. I agree with his philosophy that "Good cooking- real cooking- is within the grasp of anyone with an appetite and a few pots and pans."
Lovely philosophy !!
