Dolce Plays in the Garden

Dolce left to rejoin her family 10 days ago but I love these pictures of her playing in the garden

Botanical Gardens, UC Berkeley

I recently took a trip to the botanical gardens at UC Berkeley. They're in a lovely setting not too far from downtown.

I was particularly fascinated by some of the patterns made by plants

Hedgehog- an appropriate name for the above plant.

Catalpa

The catalpa tree

looks beautiful with Matilija poppies growing under its branches.

The blossom of the catalpa tree is very pretty.
