The Gardener and I decided to visit Alaska. We loaded the SUV onto  the M V Columbia, one of the ferries in the Alaska Marine Highway System, http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/pubs/ and sailed from Bellingham, Washington to Juneau, Alaska.
